Forced Labor

E-learning for Agri-Suppliers: Identifying and Responding to Forced Labor in Agriculture

Description

This course is a training for the in-country sustainability teams and field teams of agricultural traders and suppliers. It was developed for the West African context, but its principles are broadly applicable to agricultural production in other geographies. This course is designed to be taken by country-level sustainability managers and team members. Learnings from the course can then be cascaded down to field officers, or field officers can take the course themselves.

Participants will learn to recognize indicators of forced labor based on international standards, assess risk in context, and guide frontline teams in observing, documenting, and escalating concerns. Through practical examples and useful tools, this course supports leaders in promoting responsible labor practices throughout agricultural supply chains.
